The park has opened once again and Jurassic World Dominion has obviously roared as the king of the box office for this weekend…but not for long as Lightyear is poised to become number one this week. Even with a terrible critical reception, the film still ended up making over $100 million at the box office, which shows how much critic-proof the Jurassic franchise actually is. Don’t be fooled: there’s going to be another reboot (in a few years from now), and that one could make a billion for sure. Just don’t bring back Colin Trevorrow in any capacity.
