Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has officially become the highest-grossing movie of the year so far, tallying up an impressive $800 million at the global box office! It could very well reach $1 billion next weekend, even if Top Gun: Maverick is poised to become the highest-grossing movie of the May 27th weekend. Some repeat viewings could help the film gain that historic number, which would make the second movie of the pandemic era reach one billion after Spider-Man: No Way Home.
