Box Office Report: “The Bad Guys” Is Still Number One, While “Everything Everywhere All At Once” Doesn’t Drop

Before a certain multiversal film drops in theatres this week, the Daniels’ Everything Everywhere All At Once did not drop this past weekend, and instead gained over 2.2% in box office profits, as the movie expanded into select IMAX theatres for a week-long run before Sam Raimi’s Multiverse of Madness releases on May 6th. Here is the full top 10 films for this weekend:

  1. The Bad Guys (Universal/Dreamworks): $16.1M (-32.8%) – 4,042 theatres
  2. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Paramount): $11.3M (-27.5%) – 3,801 theatres
  3. Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore (Warner Bros): $8.3M (-40.7%) – 3,962 theatres
  4. The Northman (Focus Features): $6.3M (-48.7%) – 3,284 theatres
  5. Everything Everywhere All At Once (A24): $5.5M (+2.2%) – 2,213 theatres
  6. The Lost City (Paramount): $3.93M (-9.3%) – 2,595 theatres
  7. The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent (Lionsgate): $3.92M (-45%) – 3,036 theatres
  8. Memory (Open Road Films): $3.1M – 2,555 theatres
  9. Father Stu (Sony): $2.2M (-33.5%) – 2,476 theatres
  10. Morbius (Sony/Marvel Entertainment): $1.5M (-35%) – 1,726 theatres
