Then, they rate it on our scale of 0-100%, we gather the percentage from all of your critics and that’s how we get our rating on the Banana Meter.
What is the Banana Meter scale, you ask?
When a film hits above 85% or higher from our critics, it means it hit Bonafide Bananas status.
When a film hits between 55-84% or higher from our critics, it means it hit Ripe status.
When the film hits under 54%, it means it hit Sour Status.

Knoxville and the crew just make you feel like you’re experiencing the stunt performing magic for the first time all over again. I felt like I was 13-years-old watching them on MTV again. I didn’t realize the connection I had to them until they brought up that they’ve been doing this for 20 years.

Even though the film does have a sense of finality and serves as a reflection on how surprisingly enduring the franchise is, it’s unlikely to sway those who do not enjoy this sort of comedy. That said, I found plenty of enjoyment laughing alongside these wild individuals, at least when I wasn’t cringing.

The fact that despite so much changing in those years, the love that fans share for these chaotic lunatics is stronger than ever. A true testament to them and their legacy. Although Knoxville has said that they are simply just getting too old to carry on with these high octane stunts for any more Jackass projects, this doesn’t feel like a send-off for the Jackass family. Instead, it feels like more of what audiences know and love, which is exactly what we all need right now.
